Family-run Loch Leven’s Larder has added a 450 square foot extension to the existing site and given the restaurant a make-over.

Husband and wife team Robin and Emma Niven, along with Robin’s brother Michael, run the business which includes a working farm, shop, deli and restaurant. A £70,000 funding deal was provided by Clydesdale Bank.

Robin Niven said: “With the restaurant extension, we now have an increased visitor capacity, allowing more families to enjoy some of the best fresh local produce.

“On a single weekend day in the first week after refurbishment we turned over 645 covers, a level that we couldn’t have serviced had we not expanded.”
