Luxury wallcoverings maker Graham & Brown and footwear brand Vans are to set up shop at Livingston Designer Outlet this month.

The addition of more high-profile retailers to its roster follows a strong performance for the West Lothian shopping complex in March, which saw a 13 per cent increase in sales and a five per cent uplift in footfall.

Graham & Brown, best known for its Superfresco wallpaper, will open a 2,869 square foot outlet at the mall in the middle of the month, while Vans will be hot on its heels with a 2,145sq ft unit.

They will join existing discount outlets including Adidas, Lacoste, New Balance and Vans’ sister brand North Face at the designer mall, which opened in 2000 under the McArthur Glen banner.

Centre manager Karen Stewart said: “At a time when trading figures for Scotland’s retail sector are showing marginal growth it’s great to be bringing more big names for our loyal customers.

“The fact that we are alluring brands to open their first ever outlet stores in Scotland indicates our strong positioning and cements our reputation as one of the country’s finest shopping destinations.”
