Line Digital bought by Leith owner Cello

Line Digital, the Edinburgh-based web design and online marketing firm, has been acquired by Cello, the group that also owns the Leith advertising agency.

The company, which employs 13 people, counts the likes of Standard Life and Tesco Bank among its clients and will become part of Cello’s Blonde Digital division following the acquisition, for an undisclosed sum.

Line managing director Ross Laurie said: “Integration with Blonde will deliver more support for our clients and staff, more financial stability for growth, and a deeper pool of knowledge for us to draw on. It is an exciting opportunity to expand more aggressively.”
