Kier completes acquisition
Construction group Kier has said today it had completed its £221 million acquisition of infrastructure and maintenance company May Gurney.
The firm trumped a rival offer from Costain earlier this year to clinch the deal.
The acquisition brings Kier’s business into Scotland, where May Gurney holds public sector contracts through its Turriff subsidiary.
