John West owner out to hook a sale

THE firm behind the UK's leading canned fish brand, John West, is up for sale with a price tag of up to £400 million, it has been reported.

Private equity firm Trilantic Capital Partners is about to launch a sale process for John West-owner MWBrands.

Trilantic is the former private equity business of failed investment bank Lehman Brothers, which was taken over by its former bosses last year.
