Jobs boost as IndigoVision expands HQ

CCTV specialist IndigoVision is to create 15 jobs as it expands its Edinburgh headquarters to cope with growing international demand.

The company, which has about 100 staff, is taking an extra 6,000sq ft of office space at the Edinburgh Technopole business park, where Indigo has been based since 2000. The expansion will take its presence in the park's Charles Darwin House to 15,641sq ft. Chief executive Oliver Vellacott said the creation of new products, including video management software, was driving the expansion, with the firm now installing CCTV systems for airport, rail, banking and government projects in 82 countries.

The Technopole was created in 2000 as a joint project between Edinburgh University and property developer Grosvenor. IndigoVision has signed a 15-year lease.
