Jim Dunn leads Scots mortgage lenders

Jim Dunn, general manager of the Scottish Building Society, became chairman of Council of Mortgage Lenders Scotland yesterday as figures showed that mortgages advanced in January across the UK were 12 per cent lower than last year, which the CML said was a "substantial" year-on-year fall.
