It looks like a Smart move for Sweeney

J SMART, the Edinburgh-based construction group, yesterday announced a change in company secretary.

Patricia Sweeney was appointed to replace Andrew McClure who resigned last week. The company recently reported a sharp drop in profits last year following a revaluation of its property portfolio. Pre-tax profits for the 12 months to 31 July were £656,000, down from almost £4m the previous year.
