Iconic Scottish confectionery brand teams up for release of Millions Ice Cream

An iconic Scottish confectionery brand has teamed up with an ice cream maker to produce a new sweet treat that has been rolled out to hundreds of stores.

Millions Ice Cream is the result of a “brand-stretching exercise” between Greenock firm Golden Casket and Hilton Ice Cream of Bradford, West Yorkshire.

The companies have combined two popular flavours, bubblegum and strawberry with a bubblegum ripple, and used the corresponding flavours of Millions sweeties as inclusions and decorations.

Golden Casket has previously been involved in brand tie-ups, including the creation of a Vimto flavoured Millions sweetie.

Hilton Ice Cream’s sales and marketing director Michael Jaconelli said: “We believe there is more potential in the Millions products and we also think there will be potential to expand into the Middle East.”
