House sales falling, but at a slower rate

Monthly house sales in Scotland fell in November, but it was a far less significant drop than expected, according to the Agency Express Property Activity Index.

The number of sales fell by 4 per cent compared to an 11.4 per cent drop in October. Compared to November 2009, sales were down 1.8 per cent but were up 121.1 per cent on November 2008.
