Hogg Robinson travel in hope

TRAVEL services group Hogg Robinson have warned like-for-like sales for the first quarter are 3 per cent ahead compared to the year before.

The firm said higher oil prices had not led to a "significant" reduction in the overall level of business travel.

Chief executive David Radcliffe told investors: "Despite the difficult economic environment, at this early stage of the financial year the group's trading has been satisfactory and we remain cautiously optimistic."
