FORMER Scottish & Newcastle chief executive John Dunsmore unveiled a rise in interim profits at C&C, the Irish drinks group he now leads.

Tennent's lager is growing its market share in Scotland and Northern Ireland after C&C bought the Glasgow-based business from InBev last year. Sales of C&C's flagship Magners cider also rose for the first time since 2007.
