Go compare More Than advert to meerkats

YOU may already be sick of the "Compare the Meerkats" and the musical "Go Compare" adverts on television but now More Than is stepping into the fray.

The insurance firm is launching a series of new adverts today on ITV, Channel 4, Channel Five and ESPN.

The 60- and 30-second slots will feature the "More Than Freeman", a character played by US impressionist Josh Robert Thompson.

Each advert features a "quirky" description of one of the company's products and will be supported by radio and online advertising.

Marketing director Pete Markey said: "We're ten years old now, so we wanted to do something to break the mould and help us take a step forward."
