Gleam in the north brings commercial banking hires to HSBC

HSBC has unveiled a pair of commercial banking hires as part of the finance giant's strategy to grow its business north of the Border.

Andrew Little joins as senior commercial manager, based in the bank's Glasgow commercial centre, while Jennifer Craig goes on board as the first Scottish business development manager for HSBC's equipment finance division, covering all of Scotland.

Little, who has 23 years' experience in the banking sector, joins from Lloyds Banking Group, where he held the position of senior area manager.

Craig, who has ten years' of banking experience, leaves behind Clydesdale Bank, where she was an asset finance partner.

John Rendall, chief executive at HSBC in Scotland, said: "We're delighted to have attracted Andrew and Jennifer to HSBC.

"Both bring a wealth of experience and will undoubtedly further enhance our commercial offering for clients and prospects."
