Glasgow agency Adeo boosts board and sales

Glasgow-based web development and marketing agency Adeo Group has unveiled two appointments to its board.

The announcement comes as it flagged a 25 per cent rise in sales in the last quarter, welcoming new clients globally as well as within the UK.

Joining the new board as non-executive directors are Vivienne MacLaren (head of marketing at Ideagen) and Paul Docherty (NXD creative director, based in Dubai) bringing a combined 50 years’ experience across creative digital marketing sectors.

MD Susie Fraser said: “Paul has more than 25 years of experience as a senior executive within the creative industry, and will be supporting our team from Dubai, and Vivienne is one of the most respected marketers in Scotland.”

Adeo has worked with the likes of Scottish Golf, RSM Kuwait, and Eden Mill, and it has also welcomed new business development manager Cara Dzivane and social media manager Johnnie Blue, who joined the team in July.

Gordon Higgins, founder of Adeo, emigrated to Dubai this month to oversee the development of its client portfolio there. Higgins said: “Adeo sets itself at the forefront of web development, digital and communication services, and provide everything that modern businesses need from a fully integrated agency. We’ve had our most successful trading year to date, recently winning £250,000 of new projects from Kuwait, USA and Dubai.”
