George Robb launches new wealth management group

George Robb, a founder and former chairman of Aberdeen Asset Management (AAM), today launches a new wealth management business, European Wealth Management Group (EWMG).

Robb, along with John Morton and Rod Gentry, aims to build an independent business with assets under management of 1 billion in three years and 3bn in five years, with offices across Europe.

EWMG reunites Ashcourt Holdings' founding shareholder Morton with his chief executive, Gentry. They grew Ashcourt into a 2bn asset manager before it was merged with another firm.
