Galliford Try wins Scottish schools work

Galliford Try has been chosen to build two schools in Scotland in a contract worth almost £50 million.

The group said its Scottish business Morrison Construction has been appointed preferred contractor for two new school campuses, potentially worth up to £49.7 million in total, by procurement body hub South West Scotland.

Morrison will build the new Greenfaulds High School in Cumbernauld and the Clyde Valley Schools Campus in Wishaw.

Galliford Try chief executive Greg Fitzgerald said: “We are delighted to secure these significant projects which reflect our reputation and strong market presence within the education sector in Scotland.
