FreeAgent in link with banking giant

Online accounting firm FreeAgent will provide the book-keeping component of MyBusinessWorks, Barclays Bank's new business support package which enables users to access the business tools needed to start and run a new business.

FreeAgent, based in Edinburgh, is run by founders Ed Molyneux, Olly Headey and Roan Lavery who set out in 2007 to produce an online accounting system for small businesses. Molyneux said: "Our users already tell us that we take the hassle, fear and pain out of the accounting process."
