Free legal seminars for surveyors from Brodies ‘academy’

Legal firm Brodies is launching a programme of training and networking seminars in Scotland aimed at enhancing the legal knowledge of junior surveyors and helping them build contacts for their professional careers.

The annual programme of free seminars offered by “Brodies Academy” will cover the legal aspects of the property sector and provide surveyors who are working towards their Assessment of Professional Competence with practical advice that will broaden their knowledge and help improve on-the-job performance.

Sessions will be conducted by lawyers from Brodies’ property team.

Nick Scott, head of the property team, said: “At Brodies we are always seeking to build positive long-term relationships with both our clients and fellow professionals and our new academy is part of that commitment.”

The evening seminars, which will be launched in October, are open to surveyors from graduate level up to five years post-qualification from all areas of the profession.
