The awards highlight and reward the outstanding contribution suppliers and growers make to the Tesco produce business.

McIntyre said: "I'm extremely proud to receive these awards on behalf of the whole team at Kettle Produce.

"From our modest beginnings in Balmalcolm in 1977, the team has worked extremely hard to grow the businesses into the success it is today.

"We have enjoyed a long working relationship with Tesco and these awards will undoubtedly inspire all of our staff to ensure this association continues for many years to come."
