Ex-Clinton aide to run Starbucks UK and Ireland

COFFEE chain Starbucks said yesterday that Kris Engskov will become the next managing director of its operation in the UK and Ireland.

The former aide to US president Bill Clinton currently runs the firm's operation in the US Pacific north-west region, and will take on the UK job in September, when current incumbent Darcy Willson-Rymer steps down "to pursue another opportunity".
