Erik Vynckier to head Scottish Widows financial team

SCOTTISH Widows Investment Partnership (Swip) has hired Erik Vynckier from Standard Life as investment director in its financial solutions group.

Vynckier will report to Neil Falconer, head of financial solutions within Swip's fixed income business. He has more than 11 years' experience in investment management and banking and has held a number of senior positions.

He worked at Standard Life as a senior quantitative analyst, building and managing a team of analysts within the group risk hub. Previously, he was director of institutional sales - asset and liability structuring at HSBC.
