Eric Hagman takes up new role at UBS Wealth

Eric Hagman, one of the best-known figures in the Scottish financial services sector, has joined the UK regional advisory board of UBS Wealth Management. He will raise the profile of the Swiss bank in regional markets and will have particular responsibility for Scotland.

Hagman, joined the former Arthur Andersen accountancy practice in 1971 and headed its UK leadership team before retiring in 2002. He is currently non-executive chairman of Aon North, coffee firm Matthew Algie, Espresso Warehouse and Kynesis, and among his other posts he is treasurer of the Royal College of Art in London and is on the advisory forum of Caledonian University. He held senior roles at Celtic FC, Glen Group, the Scottish Rugby Union, Scottish Enterprise, CBI Scotland and Scottish Financial Enterprise.
