Engineer fails to hit its summer targets

An ENGINEERING firm with more than 2,500 staff yesterday said costs and recruitment would be “closely monitored” after it missed its sales targets over the summer.

Gloucestershire-based Renishaw reported revenues of £70.5 million for the three months to September, up 15 per cent but below planned-for levels.
