Energy firm takes 3rd floor of STV's HQ

RES Group, a renewable energy development firm, is to sub-let the third floor of broadcaster STV's Pacific Quay office block on the banks of the Clyde.

The ten-year deal involves RES moving from its present Academy Park office following the "rapid expansion of the Scottish arm of its operation".

Tom Durham, STV's head of facilities, said: "This high-quality space is surplus to our occupational requirements and it made good financial sense to go down the route of sub-letting."

STV was represented by CB Richard Ellis, while RES represented itself.
