Postings for roles in the capital rose by more than 61 per cent last month, well beyond the UK growth average of 29.8 per cent. The CV-Library job board also recorded a 36 per cent rise in the number of CVs registered in Edinburgh during May, suggesting there are ample candidates to fill these positions.

It was a similar story in April, when the number of postings rose by 79 per cent on the same period a year earlier.
