Edinburgh hotel set to reopen for guests this summer

A hotel in Edinburgh has announced it will be reopening its doors this month as Scotland eases its way out of lockdown.

Apex Grassmarket Hotel, with rooms starting at about £100 per night, will be welcoming guests from July 20 with new measures in place to ensure safety in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

Located in the heart of Edinburgh with castle views, the hotel has already started receiving reservations.

Rooms will be kitted out with welcome packs including PPE and hand sanitiser and under the new measures, bookings will be flexible.

Staff will follow a new ‘Apex Assured’ system, designed to give guests complete peace of mind regarding cleanliness as well as ensuring flexibility on bookings.

The hotel is owned by family-run Apex Hotels, which has ten properties across the country, four of which will be reopening on July 20 in Edinburgh, Dundee, Bath and London.
