Edinburgh founders celebrate International Women’s Day

Business Gateway Edinburgh has marked International Women’s Day at the capital’s City Chambers with an event led by talks from inspiring business-owners.

Key speakers included Marie Owen, chief executive of LS Productions, one of the UK’s largest film production companies, whose clients include BMW, Burberry, Vogue, Harry Styles, Lufthansa and Volvo.

There was also a discussion on building a sustainable venture in the circular economy with business owners Stephanie Foulds of The Eco Larder, Nina Falk of Kalopsia Collective, and Suzie Millar of Scottish Bee Company.

Susan Harkins, head of Business Gateway Edinburgh, said: “Today was a fantastic celebration of women coming together to support each other in business and hearing from inspiring women who make an incredible impact on the economy.”
