Dermal Clinic, which is run by husband and wife team Jarrod and Jackie Partridge together with clinic manager Daniel Foxcroft, has enjoyed double-digit growth since starting out in 2007.

New figures show that the business recorded its best monthly revenues in June, with sales up 49 per cent year-on-year, contributing to an anticipated annual sales rise of more than 20 per cent.

Jarrod said: “We’re proud to have thousands of clients on our books – many coming from outside Edinburgh and Scotland – and demand for our services is showing no let up this year as evidenced from our 38 per cent spike in year-to-year revenues in March and a 49 per cent rise in June.”

The UK cosmetic industry has an estimated value of £17 billion and is expected to grow by 16 per cent in 2016. Jarrod said Dermal was positioned to take advantage of the growing consumer confidence and interest in cosmetic procedures.

The firm employs ten staff and provides a range of treatments covering plastic surgery consultations, weight loss, facial aesthetics and skin treatments.

Jackie Partridge has played a key role in the Scottish Government’s drive to require all independent clinics to be registered and regulated. She was appointed to the Healthcare Improvement Scotland Programme Board as a representative for the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses.
