Edge Testing posts record growth after English push

Bellshill-based software tester Edge Testing Solutions has celebrated a record growth year, including revenues in England jumping by 50 per cent, and 15 client wins.

The business, which is part of Eurofins Digital Testing and calls itself one of the UK’s fastest-growing and largest independent firms of its kind, said its rapid progress south of the Border was due in part to adding new clients in the Midlands, served from Scotland and Birmingham.

It also hailed the creation of a Northern team, while new client contracts totalling £2.5 million serve the likes of the gas/electricity, consumer credit and finance, and public sectors.

MD Sharon Hamilton said: “Over the past 12 months, the continued improvement of our delivery of testing services and the addition of several new initiatives… has resulted in a strong year for Edge Testing. Our aim for 2019 and beyond is to boost our testing tools suite and service offerings further alongside continuing to be an employer of choice, via our Edge Academy.”
