DSG ramps up revamp of Currys stores

CURRYS owner DSG International outlined plans for more new-look stores yesterday after hailing the early success of its transformation strategy.

DSG said its new-format Currys Megastores and combined Currys and PC World shops were proving particularly popular as they offered customers wider ranges and improved standards of service. It plans to refurbish 100 stores in the UK and Ireland in the 2010-11 financial year, with most ready for Christmas. The programme includes the opening of 25 Megastores.
