Douglas Barnett takes experience to Resilience Centre
Print and packaging company Elanders is continuing its strong period of growth after taking on new premises by appointing a business development manager to work from the new site. Graeme Leslie, from Inverclyde, will be joining the business at its Scottish division, Elanders Packaging. The new 17,500sq ft premises at Bellshill is three times bigger than the previous site and boasts new digital print and luxury finishing equipment for packaging and labelling.
Property consultancy Savills has added to its investment team with the appointment of Stuart Orr who joins as a director in the firm’s Glasgow office. Orr joins from FG Burnett where he spent five years in the Glasgow investment team. Prior to that he was head of direct investment in Scotland for DTZ and has also worked for CBRE, Hallandale and King Sturge. Orr said: “I am joining a highly regarded team and am excited by the opportunities that will flow from being part of such a well connected and ambitious business.”

Hide AdProperty and legal outfit Pagan Osborne is strengthening its team with a raft of new appointments. Joanne Cruickshank joins the Edinburgh office as conveyancing partner and manager from a leading Aberdeen law firm. The appointment signals continued growth for the firm which has also appointed Christine Butler as office services manager and taken on two new legal trainees who will begin working with the executry departments in both Edinburgh and Fife.
Tom Clements has been re-elected as chairman of the National Outdoor Events Association Scotland for another two-year term and says he is looking forward to welcoming new members from across the industry during this period. Clements, who has held the post since 2009, will be rejoined by vice-chairman Jonathan Reid and committee members Martin Dare and Ross MacGillivray, who were all voted back into their posts.
