It seems barely a week goes by without another warning of changing weather patterns and other examples of the climate emergency.

Storm Babet was the latest to batter Scotland, causing personal and financial disaster to many, and costing lives. With scientists predicting more extremes in weather, some of the brightest brains in the country are gathering at the third The Scotsman Green Skills Conference to help find solutions.

The conference will take a hard look at the current Scottish workforce, what upskilling and recruitment is required and the exciting opportunities there are for Scottish businesses as new markets and collaborations develop as the country joins others around the world addressing the climate crisis.

The event takes place on Monday, November 6, at the Technology and Innovation Centre (TIC) Conference, Meetings & Events – University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.
