Dicksons drives in well ahead of target

Dicksons, the motor dealer with four sites in Inverness and Forres, has recorded a pre-tax profit of £383,000 for 2010, 48 per cent above its target for the year after profit margins were not squeezed as tightly as expected.

Profits were still down 23 per cent on 2009's 495,000, according to accounts filed at Companies House, but turnover rose by 10 per cent to 18.6 million. Dicksons runs Kia, Nissan and Suzuki showrooms.
