Derbyshire steps down from Havelock

MICHAEL Derbyshire yesterday said he will step down from the board of Havelock Europa next month to become chairman of two private companies. He has spent the past three years as a non-executive director.

Chairman Malcolm Gourlay said: "Michael Derbyshire has served on the board of Havelock during a challenging time for the company and, on behalf of the board, I would like to thank him for his clear thinking and sound advice."

Dalgety Bay-based Havelock – which kits out classrooms, shops and offices – has recently posted a string of profit warnings.
