Demand for offices in Glasgow slumps

DEMAND for serviced office space in Glasgow fell by a third in the past quarter yet prices have remained stable, research yesterday indicated.

Website Officebroker.com said that firms which did take up space reduced their size requirements with each office on average having one less workstation than during the same period last year. It found that the average workstation priced at 161, up just 1 on a year earlier.

Last week, Officebroker.com said demand for serviced office space in Edinburgh had risen by a third in the last three months despite a hike in prices.
