Deeside timber frames group constructs solid sales
Deeside Timberframe – part of Aberdeenshire’s Bancon Group – said it was “reaping the rewards” of investment in additional resources in the Central Belt and north-west of England with some 60 per cent of its business generated out with its home territory.
The firm, which recorded sales of £23 million during 2015 and manufactures in Stonehaven and Stirling, has secured sales of £16m so far this year, including deals with a number of main contractors and private developers covering the affordable housing, private housing and commercial sectors.
Managing director John Wright said: “Despite tough market conditions here in the north-east, trading in the region remains strong with a healthy order book and an extremely high level of enquiries.”
