Debt firm unveils expansion plans

DEBT collection group Mackenzie Hall is to create 100 jobs over the next year.

The Kilmarnock-based business, which works with utility companies and mail order firms to recover money owed, handles more than a million individual debts a year.

The company has taken on some 20 staff over the last quarter with up to 50 additional posts being created in the next two months. Further recruitment is planned for later in the year.

Mackenzie Hall currently employs more than 100 people at its head office and call centre.
