Danish outsourcing giant mulling IPO

THE world's fifth-largest private-sector employer has hinted that it may consider launching its £1.9 billion initial public offering (IPO) in London.

Jeff Gravenhorst, chief executive of Danish outsourcing giant ISS, told a Sunday newspaper that he was reviewing his options regarding a possible float in Copenhagen or London or both markets.

ISS - which has 525,000 staff, including 43,500 in the UK - had previously indicated its IPO would be in Denmark, with a possible secondary listing in the UK.

The company is owned by Goldman Sachs and Swedish private equity firm EQT.
