Core-Asset Consulting in financial services drive

RECRUITMENT company Core-Asset Consulting has promoted associate director Louise Powrie to head up an expanded financial services division.

Powrie, who becomes director of financial services, has been with the Edinburgh company since its launch in 2005. She will have responsibility for overall development and management of the division and will be joined by a new team.

Emma Cormack moves from Change Recruitment, where her focus was on multi-discipline vacancies across investment management and financial services. She brings more than eight years’ experience and will be responsible for mid-level financial services roles.

Also joining as recruitment consultants are Paul Mullarkey and Rory Milne. Mullarkey was previously with Keillar Resourcing, where he specialised in recruiting for life companies, IFAs and wealth managers. Milne joins from Hudson, where he worked across a number of sectors, including IT and change management.

Consulting, said: “Having evaluated the growing complexity of our clients’ recruitment needs, a strategic decision was made to increase the size and the multi-disciplinary expertise of Core-Asset’s financial services division.

“Louise’s appointment has been the first stage in this process.”

Powrie said: “My aim is to build a team which mirrors the multi-disciplinary approach of our other divisions.”
