Sky broadband down: Dundee, Glasgow and Aberdeen affected by internet outage

The internet provider has received complaints of outages across Scotland and the rest of the UK.

Sky broadband customers across Scotland have been hit with outages today, with Dundee, Glasgow and Aberdeen among the worst-affected areas.

The first spike of reported outages came after 9am, when 1,641 people across the UK complained to internet tracker, DownDetector.co.uk.

But reports of internet issues have continued throughout the day.

The internet provider took to social media this afternoon to warn customers in Dundee, and North East Scotland that they may struggle to get online or make and receive calls.

It comes after similar issues with Sky broadband yesterday and on Wednesday.
