Conference report: Addressing green agendas

Experts attended The Scotsman’s Highlands and Islands Green Energy Conference on Wednesday and held a focused debate on the challenges and opportunities for the region as Scotland aims to position itself as a global leader in green energy.

Delegates at the event in Inverness also heard about how attracting skilled talent to the region is key to the success of renewable energy in the Highlands and Islands.

The conference was sponsored by Wave Energy Scotland, Zero Waste Scotland and Highlands and Islands Enterprise.
