Collagen Solutions insists £100m value is in reach

It said: “This invite to speak at the session, on creating the right conditions to make Scotland a global player in life sciences, is as a result of the work Stewart White and his team have undertaken in building a world-class facility at Robroyston to produce medical-grade collagen. This is then incorporated into an increasing number of products used around the World in the rapidly growing regenerative medicine arena.”

White added: “In order to be a leader in life sciences, companies need the combination of academic innovation and manufacturing infrastructure to add value to customer products.

“Collagen Solutions has become a global leader in producing and supplying medical-grade collagen because we have excellent people working in world-class facilities in Scotland, New Zealand and the USA – this is the core of our commercial operations.”
