Class act as building firm lands £11m work

CONSTRUCTION firm McLaughlin & Harvey has been appointed main contractor on two education construction projects, with a combined value of almost £11 million.

The company was appointed to construct the £6.6m Bilston Primary in Midlothian and the £4.2m Levenmouth Campus Development in Fife, where work started earlier this month.

At Bilston, McLaughlin & Harvey’s Paisley office will deliver the complete design and construction of a single-storey eight classroom primary school and nursery plus install a multi-use games arena, sports pitch with flood lighting and car parking facilities.

Levenmouth Campus Development is a joint development between Fife College and Fife Council.
