Carrie steps up in Dawson revamp

JIM Carrie, the chief operating officer of Scottish textiles firm Dawson International, has been appointed as a main board director.

It marks the second boardroom change this month at the Hawick-based company following last week's departure of deputy chairman Giovanni Ghione. Carrie was appointed to his current role in September after the resignation of chief executive Andy Bartmess.
