Caravan retailer off the road

One of the UK’s top caravan retailers has admitted that it has failed to secure the financial backing needed to continue trading.

Discover Leisure, which employs 250 staff in five branches across the north of England, said demand for leisure vehicles rapidly declined after the 2008 financial crisis. It has appointed administrators.
