Capital gin maker in good spirits with new distillery
The firm, owned by Spencerfield Spirit Company, added that it has signed new distribution deals in Europe, Scandinavia and North America for its core range.
The new facility occupies a former biscuit factory, supplementing its distillery in Rutland Place, and will produce it main products including newly-added Seaside Gin, launched in time for summer.

Hide AdProduction is being led by head distiller David Wilkinson. Alex Nicol, co-founder of Edinburgh Gin, said: “Leith is steeped in history as an iconic gin port and was the centre of a home-grown spirits industry.
“This expansion will more than quadruple our production capacity, with the new distillery producing enough spirit to make over 2.5 million G&Ts per year.”
