A Perth-based specialist in CCTV and digital communications has seen its turnover jump by almost a third following a string of contract wins.

Scottish Communications Group (SCG) said it was on track to generate £3 million in sales this year on the back of the deals, worth more than £400,000.

The contracts include CCTV upgrades for craft beer maker BrewDog, Celtic Football Club, Forth Ports, NHS Grampian, River Clyde Homes and the Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre and SSE Hydro complex in Glasgow.

The bumper haul of deals follows a record £1.85m contract SCG secured last year with Caledonian Maritime Assets, covering the design and installation of a new CCTV system for its network of 25 harbours, ports and slipways.

Paul Gibson, managing director of SCG, said: “Our recent success reaffirms our approach to accelerate growth across the central belt of Scotland.

Over the last year, we have continued to invest in new technology and increased staff numbers to support this period of expansion. We look forward to continuing to grow our presence across Scotland.”

SCG, which was established in 1979, employs 23 staff and holds a royal warrant for the supply of communications systems to the Queen.
