Building company director disqualified

A BUILDING company director has been disqualified for eight years following an investigation by the insolvency service.

Stephen Connelly, who was a director of Glasgow-based Glen Isla Homes, was found to have paid 235,000 of company funds to another company he was a director of when creditors of Glen Isla remained unpaid.

The liquidator subsequently recovered 150,000 from the connected company.
