BT deal brings TV and wi-fi to Goals’ centres

Keith Rogers, chief executive of East Kilbride-based Goals, said: “Our 130,000 weekly players will now be able to enjoy big screen sports action, compliments of BT Sport, and get the latest score online with BT wi-fi”. Last week, the firm launched an expansion campaign after raising £11.4 million from shareholders to fund the development of more sites on both sides of the Atlantic.
Two sites are planned this year and next in the UK, while three more centres are due to open in Los Angeles by 2016.
